Tada! My Brute Manager v0.5 has been released in all its glory. To the left is a screenshot showing off all the bells and whistles.
Here's the major additions that made the cut:
- Give your brutes Aliases for grouping, organizing, sorting, or what have you.
- Auto-Enroll your brutes in the daily tournaments
- All the juicy stats of your brutes are now collected in addition to the level. Including progress towards level-up, Victories, number of pupils, and Tournament Rankings.
- The config page now shows off all this newly collected information for a total brute summary and comparison.
- Brute sorting works a lot better now, and includes being able to sort on the above new information.
- A manageable enemy list, with the option to have the Quick Fight button give your enemies priority when looking for an opponent.

ReplyDeleteWhen are the enemy controls supposed to appear? Not seeing them after an upgrade from v0.4. Good script otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThe enemy controls are not on by default. Click on the "Config & Brute Summary" link on the top right of the manager to go to the configuration page. Expand out the Basic Config Options and select "Manage Enemies" and then click "Save Configuration Changes"
ReplyDeleteNow you'll have the enemy controls. There's a couple other config options while you're there to configure how enemy management behaves.
I need to write up some instructions on how things work now that the tool is getting more complicated.
Hope that helps, and gets you whooping up on your enemies!
Interesting. "Manage Enemies" isn't an option for me on the config page. The config page also erroneously reports "there's a newer version available" if that's a clue. I completely uninstalled/reinstalled the script, clearing the GM store. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteSame here for me. I downloaded this tool for the first time, newest version. I've got the latest version of greasemonkey. Yet when I go to the config page it says in order to use this page, to upgrade to the newer version. Everything seems to work well except for manage/add enemies and also I cannot find where to set my brutes to autoregister in tournaments.
ReplyDeleteCleffedUp & Mississippi Relics :
ReplyDeleteSorry guys, there was a one major typo on the configuration page, which hid all the new options from you.
Check it out now! You guys should be good to go!
First of all, great script, its aweseme, thanks for developing it!
ReplyDeleteThere is just a lil problem.
The Quick Fight Animations aren't being skipped in the 1st fight of each one of My Brutes, only in the 2nd and 3rd.
Also in the Basic Config Options menu I check "Hide" and save. But everytime I come back there "Show" is the one checked.
Thanks Stryker, I'll figure out what is wrong with skipping the 1st quick fight animation. And I'll find out which option isn't taking the "hide" setting properly.
ReplyDeleteThe "hide quick fight name" option has been fixed. As far as the 1st quick-fight not being skipped...haven't figured that one out yet.
ReplyDeleteWell, about the 1st fight, it doesn't happen always, and it's not a big deal anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe "hide" issue is now gone, as you said! :D
Now there's just this "Unable to Find An Opponent" msg appearing after "Looking for a random Opponent..." in cellule page sometimes.
Thanks for all efforts! Your script rules.
When the "Unable to Find An Opponent" message happens, that's when the script's attempt to load the arena or vs page in the background ( to go grab an opponent for you) failed because the page returned a "brutal error" page. It happens sometimes on mybrute.com and that's just going to be like that until mybrute.com has better up time. I plan on adding a "try again" link in the future when this happens so you don't have to refresh the whole page.
ReplyDeleteOh I thought that it could be something like that,
ReplyDeletebut.. as I'm not an specialist, I thought I'd better tell you.
I guess I'll just try playing like 3 hours before they daily fights are available, it seems that's the best time to play, or the server is more stable.
Yes definitely, thanks for letting me know in case it was something I could fix. All the feedback I've been getting just keeps making the tool better and better!
ReplyDelete1st i like you to thank you for MBM :) thx million ! its really really helpfull,
ReplyDeleteok now i m getting some problem...
I have updated script, 4.xxx to 5.XXX
but some function not working for me like... add to Enemy list, i cant see any button, quick fight also not working properly.
and a request to add function to add is "Back-up Mybrutes" so we can easily uinstall and install if we messed up.. i have around 182+ Mybrutes lol
Anyway Thanks again and again and again and again for this Awesome kickA$$ script :) luv ya
how dumb i am ! posted without reading ! now enemy thing working ! thx
ReplyDeleteUpdate !
ReplyDeleteChanged and save 10-20 times but its Enemy manange list and some other option still not working.. its getting back to defaul value. :-( help plz
how about u make 1 check box that when we check it, and when the start fight shortcut appear, it will automatically push the button and fight, also, how about auto refresh if cant fine any random fighter
ReplyDelete@Chaitanya -
ReplyDeleteSo when you click on "Manage Enemies" and click save config, when you look again, Manage Enemies is unchecked? Make sure you don't have mybrute.com loaded up in any other windows or tabs or they'll fight with eachother changing the config. If that's not what the problem is, let me know. I'll figure it out!
@Stryker -- That 1st quick fight skipping thing might also be a side effect of having mybrute.com open in multiple tabs/windows.
@syaitan -- Sorry, MBM cannot automatically push the button for you, it's a flash program that requires a mouse click. Emulating mouse clicks is outside of greasemonkey's capabilities.
I didn't do an Auto-Refresh if no-opponent found because I didn't want your firefox getting stuck in an infinite loop. But you did give me an idea of another trick I can do to help everyone get around mybrute.com's downtime-problem. I'll get experimenting.
Thanks everyone for all your feedback!
Hey Mr. Tool, I've noticed that when I've just changed to some other window, like Msn or other page, the fight wasn't being skipped. But then I started using only 1 tab of 1 window to fight.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've experienced something weird, I manage 74 brutes with your tool, and today when I loaded the config page, suprise, there was only 22 in there.
Luckly I've found all the missing brutes in my firefox history, and already added them again.
Chaitanya said... and a request to add function to add is "Back-up Mybrutes"Stryker said... I manage 74 brutes...today...there was only 22 in there.I'm going to put some other things on hold and get a Brute-Backup something or other into MBM asap, loosing brutes sucks big time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, something like export and import a config. file to some folder. :D
ReplyDelete@ToolMeister
ReplyDeleteYes, i have changed option many time in "Configue" but its getting back to default value,
Auto-Register in Daily Tournament -> I have marked "Auto-Register"
Manage a list of your enemies --> Marked "Manage Enemies" but function dosent not working,
but those function never worked for me.. many time i have loaded "Config" and marked again those option but... its keep getting back to default value...
Yes, Whenever i go back to config page i see no changes, i mean i have marked "Manage Enemies" but its now unchecked :-(
going to update 5.c after posting this :)
Chaitanya, It sucks that you're having that problem with the config, it's cheating you out of the new fun features.
ReplyDeleteBear with me here while I'm annoyingly detailed, but I need to figure out exactly where the problem is happening: Try these steps:
* Close all your firefox windows/tabs until you only have one tab in one window open.
* Go to the config page in that one tab/window
* Click on "Load Current Config to Change Settings"
* Click on "Click here to show the basic config options"
* Change one of the options, For example, Click on the Radio button to the left of "Auto-Register" so that it's filled in.
* Click on "Save Configuration Changes"
At this point the page should change and the words:
"My Brute Manager Has been Succesfully Updated! :)"
should appear in big bold letters accross the top.
* If it does, then click on the link "Go back to the Game"
* you should be in one of your brute's cells
* Click on "Config & Brute Summary" at the top right on the manager
* On The Firefox Menu go to View>Reload
* Click on "Load Current Config to Change Settings"
* Click on "Click here to show the basic config options"
Auto-Register should still be selected.
If you don't mind doing all that, and let me know if/when/where something goes wrong It'll help me track down and fix your problem. Thanks for your help.
Already did that all those stuff.. even cleaned cockies & cache, played with firefox extension "NoScript" "ABP" etc... everything is fine with "NOSCRIPT".... but nothing good happened..
ReplyDeleteNEW UPDATE WHILE I WAS TYPING
This is really anonying LOL
i checked "Config" page again and...
now i can see BIG HUGE BOLD TEXT
"My Brute Manager Has been Succesfully Updated! :)"
lol Everything is fine now,
once again many thx for this script, and all of ur help, its really really helpfull, may god give ur Brute MAXIMUM AGILITY & Speed and Wolfs and bear :P
Awesome!! I'm glad. I gather you weren't seeing the big "updated" text. Maybe getting to 5.c and/or the recent updates I did to the config page cleaned up whatever was going on.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes...I would like a bear :)
Very nice! :D
ReplyDeleteThumbs up! Thank you so much!
Hey Mate,
ReplyDeleteHere is one more bug...
Today suddenly 75% Brutes disappeared from list ! thx god thr is backup !!
awww... i have lost my all new brute.. that r not in backup... also kinda massed up my brute list
ReplyDeleteLike THis
"Brute URL Name" - "Brute Alias"
EXAMPLE-1 EXAMPLE-1
EXAMPLE-2 Something ELSE
EXAMPLE-3 Example-4
LOL now loaded list again its now fixed! RIP to all my New Brutes :(
ToolMeister,
ReplyDeleteVERY cool.
One suggestion - selecting an entry from the "enemies list" should not jump to that enemy's cell, but instead enable it as the opponent for the quick fight.
Very, very nice tool though.
Another comment, if there are enemies, and they are within the 2XP range, then they should show up by default in the enemy list, not a random enemy.
ReplyDeleteIf you do that, this tool will be completely fantastic.
Sorry, by enemy list, I mean the quick attack.
ReplyDeleteSo if you have enemies that are within 2 levels of the current managed brute's level, then instead of showing a random opponent in the quick attack, the lowest level qualifying brute should show in the quick attack page.

ReplyDeleteYou are suffering from a very bad side effect of fiefox caching. I've got some ideas to work around it. But for now, never leave the config page open once you're finished with it. And when click on the config link and come to the config page, always hit Reload/Refresh
Steve G -
One of the options in the configuration controls what happens when you select an enemy from your drop down list, You can change it so that it goes into a Quick Fight instead of going to the cell.
I'm working on an option to allow the enemy/quick fight to use enemies 1 or 2 levels lower, look for it in the near future!

ReplyDeleteHey there, there is one lil thing I think you can fix, the characters that get lvl 3 by winning the 6 starting fights appear on config page with 0 "Xp to lvl-up", instead of 12.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this happens in every lvl that you get the exact amount to reach it, but in lvl 3 it does.
(I deleted previous post for typos)
fixed it stryker, thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteLooking good here. Got a request for you:
ReplyDeleteAdd the enemy management controls to the Arena.
If a weakling suddenly levels up to be gruesome, or if I find a good target, I'd like to add/remove them.
Having looked at the code for the menu generation, this request is actually pretty hairy as an incremental change. If you think this is a good idea, it might make sense to "componentify" the menu to get it on the arena, then swap the new functions into the menu later.
version 0.5d (which I'm still working on--Coming Soon) Could be nick-named the Arena & Enemies Update. I've changed the arena code to make the arena more of another managed page and less of a copy-and-paste of the cell code. And the popularity of the enemy-list brought an influx of ideas for making it better.
ReplyDeleteMy point is: your idea will probably fit right-in!! I'm thinking your idea is adding an "Add Enemy" button for each of the six opponents in the arena. Which means it'll exist outside of that "menu" block. I'll throw it in the pot and get cooking. If you are thinking something different, just let me know!
erm, just want to asking, its possible that we can calculate the result of we winning? if does, how about make some manager that can calculate the % of winning before we start fight, if it could, just asking, sry for my english
ReplyDeletesry, and how about, we can search another lvl to? can u posible make it?
ReplyDeleteWhy is that I can't see the auto fight thingy?
ReplyDeleteu enable it or not?
ReplyDeleteI Can provide BIG list of WEAK ENEMY ! you should add those Brute in script!
ReplyDeleteohh wrong GMAIL ID ! btw Chaitanya here
ReplyDeleteenable what?
ReplyDeleteSyaitan-
ReplyDeleteI don't see adding battle victory odds any time in the near future. I don't even know how I would go about it.
Searching for opponents of different levels is the exact thing I'm working on right now for the next version!
zephaniah34-
Quick Fights are not enabled by default. When you are in a cell, click on the small "Config & Brute Summary" link at the top right of the manager. One of the basic-config options is to turn quick fights on.
Wicked-
I don't want to add specific brutes into the script. But you can definitely share your list with others so they can add them to their enemy lists. I like the community idea though, perhaps I'll add some manner of sharing enemy lists with other users. We'll see.

ReplyDeleteI click show buy it does not appear to the brute page ~_~
Why just not put the quick fight thingy on default?
ReplyDeleteAnything that gives MBM/firefox a performance hit is off by default.
ReplyDeleteSorry the config is complicated, but here's the steps for you to turn quick-fighting on:
* Click on "Config & Brute Summary" at the top right on the manager
* Click on "Load Current Config to Change Settings"
* Click on "Click here to show the basic config options"
* Click on the Quick Fight Link Radio button to the left of "Show" so that it's filled in.

ReplyDeleteI found the 1st Quick-Fight being skipped problem. Quick Fights are getting a major re-work, which is what's delaying the next version. QF's are WAY faster! :) (But still buggy...for now)
ReplyDeleteglad to hear that, hope u can make quick fight for 2 lvl different, hope can help u but i dont know about scripting
ReplyDeleteYup that's in there too. I'm really excited about QF's make-over, just got to work out the bugs before everyone else can enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteHi Tool Meister, i'm really interested in you script, i think that's a very good idea. Can you Cantactme please?? I have a featured idea for your script
ReplyDeleteMy e-mail is 3rocuarta@gmail.com+
sory for my english :P
Just post your idea here, so that everyone can see it, and comment on it and discuss it to see if it's something I should add to the script.
ReplyDeletei'am a student of programing, and i do a mini calculator in delphi (very very simple :P). I'm think that put te number of XP that have a brute is a great idea, and i (think) discovered a way to calculate.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I already have the experience figured out, and built the Experience Lookup Tool that can do it, and starting with version 0.5, the "Config & Brute Summary" page runs that on all your brutes at once so you can see how much experience they need to level up. It's only a matter of time before I can get it into the manager too. Sounds like 0.6 candidate to me. :)
ReplyDeleteOk, excelent. If you need something just send me an e-mail and i will (try) to help you ^^ cya!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSir, if i may. can you may a script that can make pupils faster? like it is needed a prozy right. But Doing all the stuff takes time and the router on/off way doesnt work in all people. I i may request that what im trying to say is that a script that has a proxy, where users just enter there desired pupil then *pff* a pupil with wxp is added :)
ReplyDeleteI understand what you are asking for, a program that goes a cheats the system to give you tons and tons of pupils giving you tons and tons of experience points. I've seen a few programs out there already that do that exact thing. However, Motion Twin (the company that makes My Brute) has also deleted brutes they caught using those programs. So I would advise against using any of those programs.
